Law, Culture, Transportation, and Environment Meet! Solbugi Edu Park

Buk-gu’s major educational culture facility, named by combining “Sol” of pine tree and Solomon and “North” (pronounced Buk in Korean) of Buk-gu’s mascot turtle.

Children can enjoy educational experience spaces here, such as Solomon Park, Student Culture and Arts Center, Gupo Children's Transportation Park, and Education Center for Environmental Love and Promotion.

A law education theme park named after King Solomon, the prominent figure known for wise judgment, runs various law-related experience and education programs such as mock national assembly, mock trial, scientific investigation, and election free of charge.

A law library with various law-related books, law playground for young children, and students’ law experience space are located on the second floor. Next, the third floor has a constitutional learning center for students to understand the constitution easily and an election experience center to learn about the importance of voting and elections and participate directly in an election, making difficult and complicated law easy and fun.

As a culture & arts education institution opened in September 2013, it provides students with opportunities to experience various genres of culture and art through a large theater of 1,000 seats and a small theater of 200 seats, a ceramic craft room, a painting room, an animation room, an instrumental music room, a practical music room, and a traditional Korean music room as well as exhibition rooms, etc. The center also runs programs such as Sunday Cinema Theater and Saturday Art Experience Class.

Children learn how to cross a crosswalk as well as the importance of seat belts, including how to drive a mini electric car in a space tailored to children's level.

The park is composed of an indoor experience education center with a 4D movie theater and an outdoor experience education center to drive a mini electric car. Through the experience, they can learn the traffic order that can be applied directly to daily activities.

This hall is divided into different topics such as climate and atmosphere, water environment, soil environment, resource circulation, and living environment.

Children can experience climate change using special effects such as wind, heat, and smoke and listen to environment stories explained in a fun way, such as the flow of toilet water, from LED panel lights.
