Our district is a commercial and residential city with one of the largest settled populations in Busan, where history and culture come alive. It is also a key hub connecting the city center and surrounding areas, while being blessed with the ecological environment of the Nakdong River Basin, Geumjeongsan National Park, and Baegyangsan Mountain, which are right beside our vibrant urban center.

The administration will be guided by the vision“Buk-gu:Opening the Future Together with Its Residents.” Building on this vision, we will write the next chapter of Buk-gu’s story as “a vibrant, attractive, and highly livable city,” creating new opportunities for growth and progress.

While remaining focused on people-centered administration that addresses the needs of today, we will also invest in innovation for the future. Through open communication and active public participation, we will generate strong momentum to move forward boldly.With thoughtful and compassionate governance that embraces people of all generations and backgrounds, we will support hope and realize our shared vision.
