(ritual praying for the spirits of the Earth) In Front
of the ˇ°Dangsan Nameˇ± which is designated as the natural
monument in Daeri-maul of gupo, local inhabitants pray
for a good harvest to the spirits of the Earth. This
has been performed by farmers with musical instruments
who stop by each family home in the town.
It returned to the stage in 1994 at the Nakdong Cultural
Festival.

(Market Play) This market play which originated in
the Gupo Jangteo (market) features a singing beggar
strolling through market places as the main character.
The play has remained unchanged since the Joseon Dynasty.
It returned to the stage in 1993 at the Nakdong Cultural
Festival.

Gamdongjin Naruteo and Byeolsin-Gut |

(ferryand sharmanistic exorcism) Ganmdongjin was one
of three famous ˇ°Naruteosˇ± (ferries) along the Nakdong-gang
River area. It was here that the Byeolsin-gut was performed
annually or biannually by some ˇ°Munyesˇ± (female sharmans)
during the Joseon Dynasty. Munyos was dancing and praying
for the prosperity of every family in the Town. It returned
to the stage in 1993 at the Nakdong Cultural Festival.
